Catherine Bacque Featured Artist on CIUT-FM’s “Acoustic Workshop” Radio Show

Toronto singer-songwriter Catherine Bacque will be the featured artist on CIUT-FM’s “Acoustic Workshop” radio show on Monday, July 26, at 7:00 p.m.

The hour-long show, hosted by Heather Fielding, widow of the late renowned folk and blues singer-guitarist Rick Fielding who created the show, is a mix of interviews, album cuts, and live performances by acoustic and roots artists and singer-songwriters. If you’re not in the Toronto area, the show can also be streamed live. A podcast will be made available shortly afterward.

Catherine Bacque’s roots are in 60s and 70s folk, pop and rock. Her style ranges from jazzy ballads to straight out country rock. Her first CD, the 5-song EP Letting Go, is available here and on iTunes and CD Baby, and can be streamed live from her website and on CBC Radio 3.

She is currently working on her second release, due out later this year. She will preview some of the songs from the new CD on “Acoustic Workshop” Monday evening.
