We would like to encourage you to get involved in your local community to help make Toronto and your local neighbourhood a greener, healthier place to live. Spend more time outside and enjoy some of the many natural green spaces our city has to offer. If you have some time to spare, join an environmental grassroots group for regular action, participate in a tree planting event, park or shoreline cleanup, or help in a community garden.
There are many ways to get involved - find something that interests you and suits your capabilities. Your community newspaper, local library or Ward councillor should be able to provide you with contact information on local groups.
